eumeX Instrumentebau GmbH was incorporated in 1992 in Heidenrod, Germany. In the early years the main business was repairing liquid nitrogen cooled Si(Li) detectors from any manufacturer, though the very most EDS detectors to be repaired came from European Kevex customers.
Being a manufacturer of high-quality Si(Li) crystals seperates us from any other repair facility in Germany and enables us to offer full performance upgrades and also new EDS detector systems.
The combination of our high-quality liquid nitrogen cooled Si(Li) detectors and the EDS2008 microanalysis system is extremely powerful and made us offering complete EDS systems in Europe now.
